Hi, you will have received the job description and so go through the key things they're looking for and think about examples you can use which demonstrate your ability to meet the skill/competency. Irrespective of your experience and background there will always be examples. Say I currently work in a cafe, I could give examples of dealing with a difficult situation, working under pressure, dealing with competing priorities. Often you find just 3/4 good examples can cover a range of questions asked so have those in your back pocket. Make sure you have done your background research about the company so you can demonstrate your awareness and think about any key trends/events in the industry and how these would have a bearing on the role applied for. Cost of living for example and impacts that could be having on customers. Finally just be yourself and stay relaxed. Take a couple of seconds before answering questions to just think how you will answer in a concise way. If you jump in you may find yourself rambling. Those couple of seconds may feel like an eternity for you, but they will be unnoticeable to an interviewer.
