Originally I joined Standard Life (in 2002) who were subsequently taken over by Phoenix (in 2018). I joined Standard Life because it had the reputation of being one of the best Life Insurance companies in the UK, and a great place to work. I've stayed with Phoenix because it opened up new opportunities including taking on a new role managing insurance risk, and then involvement supporting our new Retirement Solutions business.
