Phoenix make it very easy to maintain a work-life balance with a number of different initiative.
- We've adopted the hybrid way of working so there is a mixture of office working and working from home.
- You are encouraged to work flexibly. Starting early or late to suit your own circumstances is common place and some colleagues will block time out to pick up children from school, making up the time at the end of the day (as long as the business isn't adversely affected).
- Only 2 bank holidays are mandatory. Other bank holidays can be worked and the time taken as part of annual leave or for different religious festivals such as Diwali and Ramadan.
All managers are encouraged to review any request for flexible working. Within our team we have part time workers and others who work longer days then take half a day off in lieu - usually done on a trial basis for a month or two to make sure it suits both the colleague and business before being formally approved.
