Support the Group Treasurer to ensure department efficiency.

I support the Group Treasurer to lead, shape and implement operational priorities for the Treasury Department. I have a strong focus towards personal leadership to ensure effective performance management for the Group Treasurer and the wider team. To promote department efficiency, I work to develop the business area placing emphasis on self-development and team development to ensure the right level of capability to not only deliver strategic and operational priorities, but also effective performance management that contributes to and supports Phoenix culture.

Working within a collaborative team.

The Group Treasurer allows me to work in a way that suits me and allows me to manage my own workload. I work in a fast-paced department that allows me to contribute to an exciting forward-thinking department. My team is collaborative, allowing me to be involved across all areas giving me the opportunity to learn new things and gain a wider understanding of operational priorities.

Do your research

Time spent understanding the company, its goals and objectives gives a solid foundation to grow your career efficiently. Further understanding your role within a department helps deliver departmental strategies that ultimately support the company's wider vision. This gives a sense of worth and understanding on why you do what you do, a sense of achievement at the end of the day makes going into work an exciting prospect.

My adaptability

I am most proud of my emotional intelligence development. Having previously worked aboard this allowed me to be part of different cultures, appreciate different views and ways of thinking. I believe my listening skills and way of thinking outside of the box have helped me become a valuable member of the team. I thrive on dealing with others and growing relationships, handling many situations with tact and versatility.
