Wellbeing is a continued focus and something employees are regularly asked about. We have monthly employee engagement questionnaires, which are anonymous and how people are feeling about their wellbeing. Scores are regularly questioned and monitored. Our benefits include wellbeing options, we offer and use flexible working and a key area is Carers and ensuring any carers within the organisation are looked after. We have mental health champions and people we can talk to about wellbeing as well as line managers.

Flexible hours, is there a mandatory number of hours an employee should spend in the office?

Hi, so the standard set hours for work each day is 7 hours excluding lunch. So a normal day could be 8-4 with an hours lunch or 9-5 with an hours lunch. The company offers a number of options however dependant on the role. As some staff have the flexibility to work part time hours. Say 27 hours per week or even a condensed workload to work a 9 working day fortnight. When we talk about flexible hours we can support a number of individual circumstances dependant on the requirements of the role

Hi Genadijs. to add to Josh's respond, there is no mandatory requirement for the time spent in the office and all depends on a role/team requirement and preference.

Hi Genadijs, Phoenix flex is our approach to flexible working and you can find out all about it here on our Careers website: www.thephoenixgroup.com/careers/flexible-working. There's some great videos showcasing this approach from our colleagues too.

Hi Genadjis, good question! Phoenix dont have a mandatory number of hours or days that everyone is expected to be in the office for. This usually varies across both team and function and is something we'd usually discuss in an interview to see what works for both sides. I do 1 day per week in the Edinburgh office but other teams may do 2 or 3 days. All depends on the requirements of the role and how the team operates day-to-day
